Tackle real-world business challenges with meaningful impact
For over 30 years, Fuqua has provided experiential learning opportunities that give students hands-on experience with real-world business challenges.
In 2012, the Fuqua Client Consulting Practicum (FCCP) was launched to unify several consulting courses into a single, comprehensive program – offering students access to a wide range of client projects and integrated learning content within one course.
Now, more than a decade later, FCCP is offered across multiple programs, including the Daytime MBA, Executive MBA, and the one-year Master in Management Studies program. FCCP provides students with invaluable experience in client engagement, team collaboration, and data-driven problem-solving, preparing them to lead with confidence in a dynamic business environment.

“Learning the skills to execute a consulting project from start to finish, culminating in an executive-level presentation, was invaluable. When I look back at my time at Fuqua, I know that FCCP will be one of the most influential courses that I took.”
— Patricia Murray, Daytime MBA ’22
About our program
FCCP immerses students in the real-world ambiguity of a client’s business problem from day one. Guided by faculty and supported by peer mentors, student teams take the lead in shaping the engagement—defining the project scope, navigating unexpected challenges, and delivering actionable, strategic recommendations. Along the way, they sharpen their problem-solving and client management skills while gaining deeper insights into a specific industry or function. Ultimately, their work goes beyond the classroom, informing real decisions that help clients move their businesses forward.
