Duke’s Fuqua School of Business offers consulting opportunities with organizations ranging from entrepreneurs to small businesses and non-profits, to medium and large size companies. Organizations apply to the program by the end of August each year. Over the next six weeks, consulting teams are formed based on students’ expressed interest in the potential projects.
An initial visit with the client takes place during Fall Term 2. During this term, the teams work with their clients to establish the detailed objectives for the client engagement. The majority of the consulting then takes place during Spring Terms 1 and 2. A written report and final presentation are completed by the end of Spring Term 2.
