  4. Who do I contact with visa questions?

Contact the Admissions Office at the Fuqua School: admitted@fuqua.duke.edu .

  5. Do I have to be accepted at Fuqua to attend the program?

Yes. This program is only for students who will be attending the MMS or MQM programs at the Fuqua School of Business.

  6. When will classes be held and in what format?

This year, after two years of teaching this program via Zoom, we are hoping to hold classes in person. That means participants must be in class at the Fuqua School throughout the program. There is currently no option to attend virtually.

The BCC program faculty are experienced online instructors, and they will challenge students to develop skills and evaluate their progress through a variety of activities and assignments.

Participants should reserve times from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM Eastern time on the dates the program will be in session.  Please realize that you will also need to spend time outside of class to prepare individual and team assignments.

  7. Can I attend the BCC and the Summer Math Review Course?

If you are required to complete the BCC, do not plan to enroll in the Summer Math Review program. If you have questions about your readiness for the academic year regarding math skills, please contact admitted@fuqua.duke.edu.

  8. What do I need to do on the first day of the program?

You will receive all of the information you need via email prior to the start of the program.

  9. What will the daily schedule look like?

The daily schedule of the BCC consists of classes and tutorial sessions from 8:30 AM until 5:30 PM Eastern Time.  Since many of the sessions will require individual or team preparation, participants should be ready for long days.  All participants will be required to participate in oral presentations, negotiation simulations, team debates, case studies, and job search skill development activities.  Also, team projects will require especially long hours.

  10. Will I have an email account?

Yes, we will assist you in setting up an email account.
