The entire cost is $750*. This includes a non-refundable $250 deposit.

  2. What does that tuition include?

The tuition fee includes all instruction, tutorial sessions, and study materials during the program, as well as lunch on each day that the program is in session.  The fee also includes access to voluntary weekly tutorial help with trained, experienced tutors for the entire year you are at Fuqua!  The fee does not include housing, parking, personal expenses, or health care.

  3. What are acceptable methods of payment for the $250 deposit?

Please visit your student portal for payment options and submit your deposit.

  4. When and where will classes be held?

The 2024 program dates are Monday-Thursday, July 8-11. All classes will be held in person from 9 am to 4 pm in classrooms at The Fuqua School of Business.

  5. Do I have to be accepted at Fuqua to attend the program?

Yes. This program is only for students who will be attending the MMS or MQM programs at the Fuqua School of Business.

  6. Who do I contact with questions about my visa?

Contact the Admissions Office at the Fuqua School: (919) 660-7705 or admitted@fuqua.duke.edu.

  7. Can I attend the BCC and the Summer Math Review Course?

If you are required to complete the BCC, do not plan to enroll in the Summer Math Review program. The two programs meet at the same time. If you have questions about your readiness for the academic year regarding math skills, please contact admitted@fuqua.duke.edu.

  8. What do I need to do on the first day of the program?

You will receive all of the information you need via email prior to the start of the program.

  9. What will the daily schedule look like?

The daily schedule of the BCC consists of classes and tutorial sessions from 9 am until 4 pm Eastern Time.  Since many of the sessions will require individual or team preparation outside of class, participants should be ready for some long days.

All students will be required to participate in oral presentations, team debates, case studies, and job search skill development activities. The program will try to simulate what being in the MMS and MQM programs is like.

  10. Will I have an email account?

Yes, all students will have a Duke email account. Once those accounts are set up, students will be responsible for checking their email regularly for any updated information regarding the program.
