FCCP is a collaborative effort between student participants, faculty instructors, student fellows and alumni mentors, external clients, and Fuqua Centers. Our team coordinates the sourcing of high-quality educational projects from clients, matching students to project teams, delivering classroom content, and facilitating project management.
Faculty Directors
James (Jim) Emery is a Faculty Director of the Fuqua Client Consulting Practicum (FCCP) and an Associate Professor of the Practice in the Management and Organizations department at Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business. He teaches in Fuqua’s Health Sector Management (HSM) program and in Duke Health’s Leadership Program in Health and Well-Being. Jim has also provided executive education and leadership coaching to for-profit corporations, non-profit organizations and government agencies since 2004. He has conducted and published research on leadership, team work and strategy. Jim received his PhD and MBA in Business Administration from the Fuqua School of Business, Duke University; between those two educational programs, he spent six years in management consulting.
Professor Majumder is a Faculty Director of the Fuqua Client Consulting Program. He teaches electives in Operations, including Operations Strategy, Supply Chain Management, Service Operations and Health Care Provider strategy. His research is in the area of operations strategy, supply chains and sustainability. Pranab joined the Fuqua School of Business in 2001 after finishing his Ph.D. from the University of Rochester. He completed his B.Tech. from the Indian Institute of Technology in Kanpur, India, and his MBA from the Indian Institute of Management in Calcutta, India, before working for a few years in logistics and information technology.
