The Fuqua School of Business offers a program for international students who are non-native speakers of English. The International Student Bootcamp not only prepares international students to succeed in The Duke MMS and MQM programs, it offers support and guidance throughout the time that students study at Duke. With an emphasis on business case study, teamwork, and class participation, students take part in a comprehensive program of cold call lectures, case presentations to demanding audiences, job search skill development, advocacy and persuasion exercises, and a variety of assignments that prepare them for the rigors of graduate school in the U.S. Tutors and faculty in the program are available to support students at every stage of their Fuqua experience.
Please refer to your admission letter to verify if the International Student Bootcamp is recommended or required for you as an international student. If the International Student Bootcamp is a requirement, you must complete the International Student Bootcamp application form and send it with a non-refundable $250 deposit check payable to “Duke University” to the address listed on the application form. The application form can also be emailed to Claire Styles, Coordinator of the program at firstname.lastname@example.org. Bank wire transfer instructions can be obtained by emailing Claire Styles.
